Economics develops inquisitive, analytical and independent thinkers who can explain how individuals, businesses and governments make decisions in a world of scarce resources. Students study both microeconomics and macroeconomics, applying economic theory to current and historical events. The curriculum is sequenced from fundamental concepts through increasingly complex analysis, enabling students to evaluate evidence, consider different viewpoints and make well-reasoned judgements.
